Improve Core Strength

Strengthen the deep muscles of the abdomen, back and pelvic floor to help improve body biomechanics and functional strength. When the core is strong, the frame of the body is supported and all other muscles and joints can do their jobs more efficiently and balanced.
Increase Flexibility & Balance

Stretching the muscles in a safe range of motion within the joints can help the body bend and flow for life’s daily movement, or for particular athletic-specific needs. The Reformer’s ability to provide assisted stretching is a unique and wonderful experience.
Improve Posture

Good alignment, supported by a strong core = good posture! Who doesn’t want to look amazing, standing proud and tall? In our “forward kyphotic” world (think slumping over a laptop all day), we need help to correct those muscle imbalances and alignment issues.

Improve Muscle Imbalances

Joint pain or other injuries can create muscle imbalances due to coping mechanisms. Our body tries to compensate for an area of weakness, which can cause even more challenges when some muscles are overworked and some are underworked.

Welcome to my private Pilates practice, nicely nestled in the Barton Creek Lakeside community, next to Lake Travis. My unique, comprehensive certification allows me to build personalized plans for my clients that incorporate the Reformer apparatus, along with many other Pilates disciplines, including MAT | EXO Chair | TRX | Trigger Point.

My true love for health and fitness began at age 13 when I was a competitive Junior Olympic track and field athlete. In high school and beyond college years I was an aerobics instructor, and later, a personal trainer at 24-Hour Fitness. I consistently set and achieve fitness goals - completing several triathlons and competing in swimming and gymnastics events. After a weight-lifting injury many years ago, I found reformer-based Pilates and never looked back after I was able to recover from a lower back injury. I also have a love for the marketing profession and spent more than 25 years working at Fortune 10 companies, managing their global marketing departments. The combination of my fitness and marketing background gives me a unique ability to work with, set goals and communicate effectively with individual clients and group classes. I am a Nationally Certified Pilates Instructor with more than 500 hours of comprehensive training. I love finding potential in my clients that enable them to do more with their body and mind than they ever thought possible.
